Elisabeth was a CCC senior during the 2021-22 school year. She was admitted to Wellesley College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. She plans to major in Economics.

Congratulations, Elisabeth!

What do you look forward to the most about studying in the U.S. and at your university in particular?

I am looking forward to studying in the US as it will give me an international perspective necessary to serve my communities effectively and equitably. I am extremely excited to join Wellesley’s diverse and empowering student body and explore my passion for Economics.

What is the best memory or experience you have had during your years as a CCC member?

I have lots of fond memories from my time at CCC, but one of the most memorable ones was when we did our group project presentations about universities in the US. I liked working with my peers and learning about the different schools in the US.

Another experience I truly enjoyed was the writing mentor program. Not only did my mentor help me with my college essays, but he offered great advice and support.

What has being part of the CCC meant for you? How has it helped you?

As I navigated the complex US application process, CCC proved to be an amazing support system. Thanks to CCC, not only have I gotten into a school I love, but I have met incredible people and discovered myself in greater depth.

What would you say to the students who are going to start being part of the CCC next year?

No matter how hard it may seem at times, don’t give up. While the US application process is quite challenging, getting through it is extremely rewarding and it will help you learn more about yourself.
