Valle García López was a CCC senior for the 2019-2020 school year. She was admitted to Columbia University, where she will begin studying as an undeclared major.
Congratulations, Valle!
What do you look forward to the most about studying in the US and at your university in particular?
The city of New York, the array of majors in the liberal arts approach, the international opportunities and diversity, the school spirit.
What is the best memory or experience you have had during your years as a CCC member?
The picnic we had at the end of our junior year!
What has being part of the CCC meant for you? How has it helped you?
It has enabled me to meet amazing people that all shared one ambition: studying in an American university. I also really appreciate our counselors’ effort to find both undergrad and grad students that shared with us their experiences and helped us with our essays, as well as financial aid advisors to shine a light on the prospects of getting aid.
What would you say to the students who are going to start being part of the CCC next year?
Timing and deadlines are the most important part. Each university is its own universe and the earlier you start applying the better.
