What do you look forward to the most about studying in the U.S. and at your university in particular?

I’m looking forward to meeting new people, learning about the culture there, and my degree and job opportunities.

What is the best memory or experience you have had during your years as a CCC member?

I enjoyed all the laughs with my colleagues and my Writing Mentor, meeting new people and talking about different cultures. Everything we did made me feel very excited about going to the US!

What has being part of the CCC meant for you? How has it helped you?

I don’t think I would have gotten where I wanted to go without CCC! It has honestly prepared me to choose the best universities for me, as well as to learn how to apply and do so with good timing. 

What would you say to the students who are going to start being part of the CCC next year?

Do things in advance–do not do it last minute! I think that this has probably marked a difference between getting accepted because I did things with enough time to go through them and not rush. Make the most out of your Writing Mentor, too; they’re absolutely great!
