Yousef was a CCC senior during the 2021-22 school year. He was admitted to Columbia University in New York, New York. He plans to major in Computer Science.

Congratulations, Yousef!

What do you look forward to the most about studying in the U.S. and at your university in particular?

Collaboration with other students, mentorship under fantastic professors, career resources, New York City.

What is the best memory or experience you have had during your years as a CCC member?

I had a very good time in breakout rooms in general. I remember meeting new people and making friends with similar likes in the breakout rooms when talking about general school stuff or the process of applying to universities in the United States.

What has being part of the CCC meant for you? How has it helped you?

Without any exaggeration, CCC has been a crucial part of my past 2 years and I owe my acceptances partly to them. Having regular meetings twice a month where experts teach you about the different parts of the application process and your mentors keep you on track was essential. I can’t imagine how lost I would be in the process without CCC.

What would you say to the students who are going to start being part of the CCC next year?

You are going to be part of a strong community that has a shared objective and helps each other in everything. You will be provided with all the resources and help that you need to understand the application process and make the best decisions in this regard. If you commit to the program, you can be very happy with the results.
