SCHEDULE
Monday, November 18th
U.S. LL.M. Fair in Madrid
6:00pm-8:30pm
Fair set up will begin at 5:30pm. Attendees will begin entering the event at 6pm.

Venue: Hotel NH Madrid Principe de Vergara (Calle del Principe de Vergara, 92, 28006, Madrid)

Shipping Information
Please read this information carefully and plan to bring alternate supplies in case your shipment is detained by customs. We cannot be responsible for materials that are dropped off at the hotel the day-of the event. Please plan accordingly.
General and important notes:
- ◽VERY IMPORTANT: Send all boxes marked “Educational Materials – No Commercial Value”
- ◽Do not insure the contents
- ◽Report the value of the materials as 0. Please note that even a nominal dollar value ($1.00) can initiate customs procedures and can result in long delays and additional costs to you. EducationUSA advising centers will NOT be responsible for any packages that may be stopped at customs and CANNOT perform any customs clearance activities.
- ◽All materials should be shipped to the addresses noted below.
- ◽Boxes shipped should not exceed 15kgs, and total shipments should not exceed 30kgs.
- ◽We have indicated our best knowledge of expectations. However, we recommend that you check customs regulations before sending packages and consult with your mail services on how to avoid any problems at customs as regulations can change and this will save you time and money.
- ◽We anticipate attendance to be about 60.
- Please limit the number of brochures you bring. EducationUSA is NOT able to arrange return shipping for any materials that are left over.
The absolute latest date to have materials arrive is November 11th. We recommend sending materials as soon as possible.

Travel Information
Visas
Visas are not required in Spain for U.S. passport holders. If any participant is not the holder of a U.S. passport, please check each country’s web page for visa requirements.
Currency
Exchange rates as of October 16, 2024 are listed below. Please confer with xe.com or other conversion platforms before traveling for current exchange rates.

Flights
It is each representative’s responsibility to make their own arrangements. Travel times and prices are subject to change.
Transportation in Madrid
Arrive on your own and arrange your own hotel transfer. From the airport into Madrid, recommended options include:
Bus
- The airport express bus stops at all terminals.
- Express Airport bus fare: 5€
- Aprox. 30 minutes from Atocha station to airport
Ride Shares
- Uber and Cabify both operate in Madrid.
- We do not recommend taking an Uber from Madrid Barajas airport into the city, bus and cab options are easier to locate at the airport.
- Within the city, both Uber and Cabify can be ordered and arrive within minutes.
Suburban rail
- There is a suburban rail that leaves T4 and it will take you to the city center.
- Ticket 2.60€
- Aprox. 20 min from city center to airport.
Subway
- The subway can get you just about anywhere. For more information, visit Metro Madrid’s website.
- An additional fee is necessary for the airport stop. There are stations in T4 and T1/2/3.
- Ticket + Airport Supplement: 5-6 €
- Aprox. 45 min from city center to airport
Taxi
- Fixed cost from the airport to the city is 33€
- Aprox. 30 min from city center to airport
- Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to our designated meeting point for program events.
All non-group transportation expenses are the responsibility of the passengers – EducationUSA cannot pay for transportation to or from the fair venue or to or from the school visits unless riding with the pre-arranged group transportation.
Hotel Information
Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation. There are a number of hotels in the area that are within walking distance or easily connected by public transport. Below are a few options that are closeby and that we’ve had guests previously stay at. However, you are free to choose any hotel or accomodation in Madrid.
Spain Student Mobility Information
According to Open Doors, Spain’s mobility is one of the top 25 international student-sending in the world. Spain has seen a 70% increase in the number of students in the U.S. between 2013 and 2023!
